Winter Resorts in BC

Authentic Canadian
In the Interior of British Columbia are some great 'family & friends resorts' with a myriad of winter sports offered, family entertainment nightly with movies, theme dinners, fireworks, skate parties and even bonfires to sit by while sipping some hot chocolate.
Few places in the world have such stunning scenery, and fewer still offer the warm hospitality and excellent service you can enjoy throughout British Columbia.

Heliskiing

Vacation homes, chalets and hotels
The Victorian-themed. mid-mountain village of Silver Star near Vernon, offers charming ski-in ski-out accommodation for every budget. Your customers will have the choice:

  • Comfortable hotel rooms for 2-4 persons
  • Victorian vacation homes for 4-14 persons, from budget to luxury
  • A personal room in one of BC's friendly hostels
Please Note: For groups, local transport from and to the Airport or to other ski resorts can be arranged.

More Adventure
Join us for one of our Deluxe, Whistler Escapiste or Private Heliski Tours. All of the powder-hungry staff are dedicated to making your Heliskiing vacation the best possible skiing or snowboarding holiday of your life.

View from Helicopter

The answer is almost always yes. From group skiing with a shared helicopter to an exclusive private heliski experience we can make almost any heli-ski trip possible.

Conditions

Snowfall and temperatures in British Columbia
snowfallThe average annual snowfall is approximately 3 to 7 meters which leaves us with an average base in the mountains of 2 to 4 meters of snow on the ground. Temperatures vary from 2 °C to -20°C, depending of the time of the winter and the altitude. At worst, there can be short spell of rain or periods when the temperature can drop to -30ºC. The average ski resort altitude is 1,500 meters.

Adventurous
Heliboarder If your customers are looking for a different experience, like some adventure, like the space and nature, they will probably love it here!
We've got many runs, from easy groomed, to nasty steep bowls with lots of powder and the cross-country skiing of course. So the choice is totally up to them.

Winter driving
The roads in West Canada are well maintained and driving should not be an issue. With heavy snowfall, one should take ample time to get to the next destination. We advise our customers to rent a 4-wheel drive vehicle.
